Qualificatif:
Barry has been hiking mountains in the northeastern United States
since the age of 9. He enjoys being out in the wilderness because of the great natural
beauty that can be found and because of the opportunity to interact with nature on a
personal level. Barry also welcomes the challenge that some hikes present, and
particularly enjoys bushwhacking and steep climbing, such as the Huntington Ravine Trail on Mt. Washington,
the King Ravine Trail on Mt. Adams and the Knife Edge on Mt. Katahdin. In the future, he
hopes to participate in Himalayan climbing, with the possibility of expeditions to Mt. Everest and K2.
